Licenses
UnicornFork is built with free software and open data: the chess engine, what your browser gets from us besides our own code, and the data, each with its license. Each name links to the project, where its source is, and each license to its text.
The chess engine
Stockfish evaluates positions and checks the coach. Maia3 is the opponent you can play.

cburnett piecesColin M.L. Burnett's chess pieces, from Wikimedia Commons
The licenseUnicornFork's chess pieces (web/src/pieces/) are Colin M.L. Burnett's (Cburnett on Wikimedia Commons): his own last versions, uploaded on 3 January 2007, of File:Chess_klt45.svg, File:Chess_kdt45.svg and the other ten files (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Chess_klt45.svg), unchanged but for their names. sprite.svg puts them together for the boards, their drawing only, its style attributes as presentation attributes (chessgpt/pieces.py). He offers them under the license of your choice of the GFDL, the BSD license and the GPL. UnicornFork uses them under the BSD license: Copyright (c) Colin M.L.
